As global logistics shifts toward greener and smarter solutions, Shandong
Heavy Industry Group held its 2026 Global Partners Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam,
on July 21–22. Following previous events in Astana, Dubai, Jakarta, and Mexico
City, the conference marked another step in the group’s global expansion and the
group's first overseas showcase of its complete green and intelligent equipment
lineup, bringing together nearly 1,600 partners from 62 countries and regions to
explore green logistics, smart technologies, and global cooperation.

More than a product showcase, the conference marked a new stage in WEICHAI
LANDKING's global expansion, with Asia-Pacific becoming the strategic hub for
its global new energy commercial vehicle business.
Beyond Exports: Building a Local Presence
As competition in the global new energy commercial vehicle market
intensifies, WEICHAI LANDKING is shifting its global strategy beyond market
expansion by focusing on localized products, manufacturing, sales and service
networks, and long-term market development.

As a high-end light commercial vehicle brand under WEICHAI Group, WEICHAI
LANDKING is entering a new stage of deep localization. By leveraging WEICHAI
Group’s integrated capabilities across R&D, manufacturing, supply chains,
sales, services, branding, and financial solutions, the company is shifting from
exporting products to establishing a long-term industrial presence in overseas
markets.
Over the next two to three years, WEICHAI LANDKING plans to establish
localized production, sales, and service networks across Asia-Pacific, shifting
from product exports to long-term local development. Starting with Vietnam, it
will gradually expand its products, manufacturing expertise, brand presence, and
technical standards into the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.
Southeast Asia: A Strategic Hub for Global Expansion
The choice of Hanoi as the host city for the Global Partners Conference was
no coincidence.
In recent years, Southeast Asia’s logistics market has grown rapidly, driven
by demand for e-commerce delivery, cold chain transportation, and urban
logistics. Meanwhile, countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia are
advancing green transportation and new energy infrastructure, supporting the
growth of new energy commercial vehicles.

Right-hand-drive markets including Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia have
become key targets for WEICHAI LANDKING, driven by the limited availability of
mature new energy light truck solutions.
The new energy vehicles showcased in Hanoi were tailored for Southeast Asian
markets, with right-hand-drive versions, enhanced durability for humid
environments, and optimized performance for urban stop-and-go operations. Based
on the Stella pure electric platform and the “Golden Electric Power System,”
WEICHAI LANDKING is improving vehicle adaptability across global markets.

The Hanoi conference further highlighted the strategic importance of
Asia-Pacific in WEICHAI LANDKING’s global expansion. With strong market demand
and regional advantages, Southeast Asia is becoming a key hub for the company’s
global growth.
From Asia-Pacific to Global Markets
Starting from Southeast Asia, WEICHAI LANDKING is continuing to expand its
global footprint.
WEICHAI LANDKING has established a presence across North America, Central
America, South America, Asia-Pacific, the CIS, the Middle East, and Africa.
Leveraging WEICHAI Group's global resources, the company continues to strengthen
its localized manufacturing, sales, and service capabilities.

In 2025, WEICHAI LANDKING's NEV sales surged by more than 530% year on year.
The company expects new energy models to account for 20% of its overseas exports
in 2026, with export sales projected to grow by 115% year on year.
From Asia-Pacific to global markets, from exports to localization, and from
vehicle sales to ecosystem development, WEICHAI LANDKING is redefining the
global expansion of Chinese new energy commercial vehicle brands.
