WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle (WEICHAI NECV)successfully held a
five-day technical training program for overseas service partners from July 14
to 18, aiming to enhance the company's global after-sales support network. The
training took place at WEICHAI University in Weifang and Laiyang plant.
Five participants from international core service partners—including service
engineers, technical specialists and vehicle body manufacturing experts—took
part in the program. The sessions focused on improving service capabilities for
WEICHAI's commercial vehicles, covering core vehicle systems and key components.
The initiative aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen global service
infrastructure and support international market expansion through improved
customer support.
The program featured five modules: The Golden Powertrain, HanDe Axle, FAST
transmission, vehicle bodystructure, and integrated hardware-software
diagnostics. The Golden Powertrain module focused on explaining how the engine
and transmission systems work together, with an emphasis on efficiency
optimization and power matching strategies.The diagnostics module provided
hands-on practice with real vehicles, enabling trainees to learn how to verify
system data and effectively use intelligent diagnostic tools in
coordination.
During the training, instructors used a hands-on, problem-solving approach,
incorporating real vehicles and case studies to explain technical concepts and
improve practical skills. Overseas participants were actively engaged,
frequently interacting with trainers and asking questions throughout the
sessions.“The training significantly improved our capabilities in vehicle
calibration, fault diagnosis and integrated software-hardware testing,” one
participant said. “We feel more confident in delivering faster and more accurate
on-site service.”
WEICHAI NECV said the training represents part of its broader push to
localize service operations and enhance global technical standards. This effort
supports its broader strategy of driving sales growth by delivering
high-quality, localized customer support and enhancing technical standards
worldwide.

in international expertise to enhance its global service network. The company

also collaborate closely with global partners to leverage technology, improve
